Woke up in the tent with 25knts buffeting it,as we were camped in the dunes.After a quick cup of tea rigged up my 5.7 and took to the sea.There was resonable 2ft surf with some nice swell out back for jibeing on and floaty jumps.Started to get overpowered on the 5.7 but had lent my 5.0 to Paul so ended up with masses of downhaul.Changed down to 80L board which worked okay with 5.7.Decided to try and sail from golf course car park up to and in the estuary which wasnt to difficult using the waves to make ground upwind.Paul was abit surprised to see me sail up to the beach whilst he was still rigging up..Overall a good day on the front meeting and sailing with new friends.I'll give it a 4 only cause i hope next time the waves will be bigger.
